1. Collection, processing and use of personal information
It is possible to visit our site without giving further personal information. In this case, only anonymous access information will be stored by our system. These information are solely and exclusively used for optimizing our site (e.g. through Google Analytics) and cannot be associated in any way to you as a person.
Personal information are collected only in the process of ordering, when you open a new personal account or subscribe to our newsletter, i.e. when you deliberately submit certain information. These information will - without your explicite prior consent - only be used to process and complete your order. Once the sales agreement has been fully implemented and the payment has been made in full, your information will be blocked from further use and deleted in compliance with the relevant fiscal and commercial period regulations, provided you did not explicitly permit further use of your data. When subscribing to our newsletter your consent is required to enable us to use your eMail-address for commercial purposes until the subscription is cancelled.
2. Forwarding of personal information, credit screening
Personal information such as your delivery address is forwarded to the carrier service to the extent necessary to execute the delivery. If required, information concerning the payment of your order will be disclosed to the financial institution responsible for the processing of your payment.
In case of prior performance on our side we are entitled to request a creditworthiness check from an authorized credit agency to protect our legitimate interests. Your own legitimate interests concerning privacy will be respected in compliance with applicable law.
Apart from the above-mentioned instances, no further disclosure of personal information to third parties will be effected.
3. Online Security
Your personal information will be secured by means of 256bit SSL encrpytion. We do our very best to protect our website and connected systems through technical and organisational measures against loss of data, unauthorized deletion, access, manipulation or theft of your personal information. Accessing your personal account is possible only with your personal password, which is why you should keep these information secret under any circumstances. When leaving our site please use the log-out function and close your browser window afterwards. This is all the more important when you share the computer with others.
